UCLA has informed USC that the Trojan drum major jamming his sword in the turf at the Rose Bowl will result in the entire Spirit of Troy being removed from the field. Cheeky USC fans might point out they could technically claim the Rose Bowl as home turf, having more notable wins there and all. It’s not clear whether the drum major will follow that dictate.

If you could throw in a ban on USC playing the same few bars of their fight song repetitively, that’d be swell.
