The Maryland Black Ops Uniform: because playing ACC football and conducting clandestine military operations are basically the same thing. These vein-popping uniforms will be worn against Florida State.

On one side: the Wild Crab and Linebacker/QB vs. Florida State’s defensive front. On the other side: Maryland’s Top 20 defense against Florida State’s road offense. Take the under and avoid watching. [H/T @darrenrovell]

Because of this not-so-veiled attack at MD/Under Armour:

If MD/Under Armour are in fact calling it the “Black Ops” uniforms, then they are certainly open targets for criticism (if you feel so inclined). However, Stuffy seems ready to take them to task over something that, based on lack of info/official sources in this post, I as a reader am not entirely sure they even did. Hence the request for an official link, because, you know, that would show who is actually the appropriate target of the criticism.

Every single media outlet that’s mentioning the uniforms is calling them Black Ops. I’m going out on a limb that Under Armour is calling the uniforms “Black Ops.” Are you looking for a copy of the press release? I hated Duffy’s joke because it means my favorite team sucks but it was pretty funny.

I’m pretty thrilled I’m taking off Friday to drink and going to the LIU-Terps game and working Saturday, somewhat to not go to this game. We’re gong to get slaughtered by FSU, I wish they’d hold off on these unis until next season, when every single valuable player isn’t hurt.
Also, Diggs is going to be a MONSTER, I can’t believe he wanted to stay home. We’re beyond lucky.
