2nd best show? huh? That can’t be right.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:15 AM
Said this on Twitter yesterday: Paula Broadwell is hawt. Oh, and is anybody else laughing their asses off when they see Jill Kelley’s name misspelled on TV without that second “e”?
November 13th, 2012 at 8:16 AM
Nashville, the second best show on network TV right now after Revolution, is getting extended
Sir, I’ve got Community, 30 Rock and Parks & Rec on lines 1, 2 and 3.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:18 AM
Holy shit
November 13th, 2012 at 8:19 AM
DID YOU EVEN READ THE ARTICLE? It says nothing of the sort.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:19 AM
No.

November 13th, 2012 at 8:22 AM
Big night for posts! Had 3-4 good ones, check them out.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:24 AM
tweaked Cher headline.
Eh.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:24 AM
Heidi, you’re trying too hard.

My phone yells at me when I try to come here at night and get attacked by gifs
November 13th, 2012 at 8:27 AM
As usual, the article raised questions and offered no answers. What is the breakdown of abortions by race? I had to google it. In 2008 52.4% of abortions were to white women, and 40.2% to black women. Only 7.3% to “other”.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:27 AM
I believe by “second best” the implication is “second highest ratings”
that’s what it has to be right? right???
November 13th, 2012 at 8:28 AM
Yeah check out the Hope Solo/Jeramy Stevens hook-up, along with the Seattle Times story detailing Jeramy’s “misdemeanor” life. Wow. Dude’s a cancer on society. Plus, he sucks at catching the football. I think I remember letting his mouth overload his ass prior to the SB XL vs the Stillers.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:30 AM
Dude, you gotta start including the Grizzlies in Ballin’. Heads-up – they’re playing OKC on Wednesday night. Check ‘em out. I think you’ll be impressed.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:30 AM
Parenthood is the best drama on network tv right now. Nashville is an entertaining soap opera.

We need Candice Swanepoel on the round-up ASAP.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:44 AM
… that means “whore” right?
November 13th, 2012 at 8:45 AM
I believe it’s in its 4th season. It’s a solid show. Old man Zeke is hilarious. Plus the show added Ray Romano this year which has been a nice addition.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:46 AM
I’d start from the beginning. The show depends a lot on family dynamics and you can understand but not fully appreciate the performances without the context of the previous seasons. They’re on Netflix and Prime if you’re interested.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:47 AM
not bad Petraeus

He doesn’t really play a funny guy in Parenthood. Romano can actually act. Men of a Certain Age was a pretty damn good show.
November 13th, 2012 at 8:52 AM
that and also, no, they’re “clearly” not trying to be on higher ground. if anything, espn would probably welcome the visability that’d come with getting smuttier and even less journalistic.

Victoria’s Secret really had to apologize for this?

November 13th, 2012 at 9:13 AM
The Reps are blowing it by not sticking to their “small government libertarian roots” and pushing for an end to the drug war. Not to mention their insistence on making abortion, marriage inequality, and other divisive social issues so prevalent. As soon as the old baby jesus lovers die off, I’m hoping we can change the party from within.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:15 AM
No, It would have been a disaster. Look at those heels they were probably hard for the white model to walk in sober.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:17 AM
Pushing for a more effective drug war and decriminalizing weed is exactly the kind of quick win Obama can earn simply because he doesn’t have to worry about being reelected.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:17 AM
You just can’t make this stuff up:
November 13th, 2012 at 9:19 AM
I find it more laughable that ESPN says that when the company has moles feeding rumors to both TBL and AJ.

November 13th, 2012 at 9:44 AM
“But his plan is as realistic as Democrats in 2000 saying they should be the party of no taxes in any circumstance, religious fundamentalists, racists and old white men.”
I don’t know. I think there’s a real divide between those that are 45 and under and those that are older in the Rep party. And as Obama has shown, the youth vote can be effectively mobilized. The fact that the establishment is controlled by the old baby jesus lovers and that those same people are essentially saying to Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and other libertarians – go away! – is the problem. I think there’s an appeal to be made to people that were Obama voters, but aren’t completely at ease with government taking a more expansive role in their lives – whether it be financially, or with respect to the drug war, abortion, etc.
When Reagan’s advisor’s made the decision to go hard after the social conservatives as a critical part of their base, they also, IMO, set into motion a trend that is now costing the Reps in national elections.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:46 AM
That doesn’t even include the John Allen stuff though, which is even crazier.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:47 AM
i was in this group the past election…there were tons of reasons why i didnt want to vote for obama. the hypocritical, aggressive stance on medical marijuana, fast and furious, libya, the outrageous drone attacks, the over-delegation of his administration, etc…
and yet, they went with romney. damnit.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:47 AM
That doesn’t even include the John Allen stuff though, which is even crazier.
Yep. The crazy has expanded. 20,000 – 30,000 emails. Nuts.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:49 AM
Yes.
I’m dubious. Because 90% of Republican voters under the age of 30 are also baby Jesus lovers. Your larger point is spot on, though.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:49 AM
OH yea.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:50 AM
It bears mentioning that John Allen, the general in charge of Afghanistan at the moment, is also being investigated for tens of thousands of “innapropriate” emails to woman #2 in this ridiculous mess.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:50 AM
Ron and Rand Paul are FAR more socially conservative than McCain or Romney.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:53 AM
The fact that the establishment is controlled by the old baby jesus lovers and that those same people are essentially saying to Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and other libertarians – go away! – is the problem. I think there’s an appeal to be made to people that were Obama voters, but aren’t completely at ease with government taking a more expansive role in their lives – whether it be financially, or with respect to the drug war, abortion, etc.
this analysis I think is exactly wrong. if you were wavering between Romney and Obama, why would you decide to go MORE conservative than Romney as an alternative to Obama and vote libertarian. Makes no sense.
Keeping abortion legal isn’t the government taking a more expansive role in people’s lives, it is a less expansive role. You desire an abortion, you are able to do so. I disagree with federal drug policy, but it isn’t like the Obama administration all of a sudden decided on our drug laws.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:55 AM
What do you have against drone attacks? They’re very effective. I guess the counter-argument would be that it creates more anti-american sentiments in Pakistan, but that would still be there regardless of drone strikes.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:55 AM
no, the obama administration just did a complete 180 on the drug policies from what they said while campaigning in 2008 to what they’re actually doing now. obama’s been far harsher on LEGAL medical marijuana dispensaries than W was.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:56 AM
Spencer, other golfers, what putter should I get for Christmas?
I don’t need a $400 super-rare, indie putter that was handmade by slave labor in a golf cult dojo in Japan. Something practical. I currently have a Scotty Newport 2.5. Want to go in a new direction.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:56 AM
“Keeping abortion legal isn’t the government taking a more expansive role in people’s lives, it is a less expansive role. ”
Yeah, that’s why I was critical of the Reps’ public stance. Not sure what your point is.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:56 AM
So basically Jill Kelley brought down the CIA director, one of the top Generals in the military and an obsessed FBI agent who was sending her photos of himself shirtless. Damn.
Broadwell revealed that Petreaus’ nickname was Peaches on The Daily Show
November 13th, 2012 at 9:58 AM
what DON’T i have against drone attacks?
aside from the fact that they’re an act of war against countries we shouldn’t be inciting? i guess the civilian casualties would be number 1. the fact that they’re not totally accurate and there’s no way to actually confirm they did anything without boots on the ground. creates more anti-american sentiment, not just in pakistan, but in yemen, iran, somalia, etc.
now there’s rumors of JSOC, CIA and drones being flown around the mexican border. it’s just something that’s far to easy to fuck up and start something WAY bigger than a clandestine war.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:59 AM
Stewart beating himself up last night over not seeing the signs was awesome.
November 13th, 2012 at 9:59 AM
“What do you have against drone attacks? They’re very effective. I guess the counter-argument would be that it creates more anti-american sentiments in Pakistan, but that would still be there regardless of drone strikes.”
Well, let’s just focus on those drone attacks which kill only American citizens. I was taught in school that there is something called “due process” which is required before you can be punished. Nevermind all the collateral damage (completely innocent people) that have been killed as a result of drone strikes.
It’s scary how many people are fine with the use of drone strikes.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:00 AM
gimme a price range. what do you mean by “new direction?” do you have a pronounced arc in your stroke or is it more straight-back, straight-thru?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:00 AM
THIS.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:00 AM
I would disagree with this.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:01 AM
Because when you hunt people with robots and bomb school children like playing space invaders people stop hating you from ignorance and hate you for cause.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:01 AM
Love the dronez.
I guess I’m confused how the government has taken a more intrusive role in my life since Obama was elected.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:01 AM
Are you a straight back-straight through putter (I hope not,) or the CORRECT way, a swinging gate putter? Just knowing that eliminates half the putters on the market.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:02 AM
I’m okay with the concept of drones but the usage of them has been, to be kind, a tad sloppy.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:02 AM
However I’m guessing this may come down to anecdotal evidence by both of us, and one of us lives in the south. So I guess I should say, I’d be willing to bet the majority of young Republicans in the northeast are not Republicans for social reasons, purely fiscal.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:03 AM
mmm…validation. gotta manipulate your hands more with SBST…and even then, there’s still some arc.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:03 AM
10:01 for the Queefer says douchiest thing on the site. Pick up your winnings at the window.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:04 AM
$100-$200 which should put me in range for every putter out there except for the designer putters, and those that put “pro” in front of their name and add $100 just because.
My stroke is (mostly) straight back, straight forward. And by new direction, I mean that I’ve only ever considered a the putter I have or a similar blade/butter knife putter. I’m open to some of the newfangled putters they have these days…no belly or long putter though. That’s gay.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:04 AM
you hate GIFs?
Yes.
They can be humorous, but this site seems to think a GIF is a story. There isn’t a lick of context with a GIF if it is trying to be used to tell a story. At least put up the video.
However, obviously they are getting the pageviews.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:04 AM
Counter point: if you support the current GOP, you are invalidated from saying that you are a “purely fiscal” conservative. You cannot align with a party that has those social platforms but disagree with them, that’s not how this works.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:05 AM
im more ok with them being used for reconnaissance and observation tho. they’re effective for gathering data, no doubt.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:05 AM
But they still hate us. What does it matter if it’s justified?
We have to deal with reality as currently constituted. The ability to remotely kill key terrorist figures without the need for troops on the ground is a real asset in modern warfare. Is it flawless? Absolutely not. But its the best option we have.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:05 AM
Well, the reason I say mostly is because on a 5 ft putt, that’s what I imagine. I think if I had it analyzed, I would be swinging gate. My handicap is a 4.0 so I know what I’m doing for the most part. But, take the other day for example, I shot an 81. 46 on the front. 35 on the back. And it was all putter related. I’m tired of that shit.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:06 AM
Taliban have a safe haven in Pakistan. That’s not some bullshit George W. Bush-esque scare tactics. It’s the fact. The question is what do we do about it. Pakistan army shows a clear lack of motivation to go after them. Primarily because they want to use the Taliban to counter the Indian influence in Afghanistan. Only other solution beside drone strike would be to take some confidence building measures to assure Pakistanis that India would not have influence in Afghanistan once America leaves. The amount of “consulates” that India has in Afghanistan is insane. India and Karzai don’t even hide their hard-on for each other.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:07 AM
ive had this major crush on an odyssey white hot xg #7 for about 6 months…i think it might be the best designed putter they’ve ever made and they’re hella cheap now. i like the white hot xg one over the white ice cuz the xg has a smaller, sleeker shape.
id have it already but juts can’t kick my scotty out of the bag tho, it just fits me too well to replace.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:07 AM
If you are TRULY a SBST putter, then the putter you are using is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you SHOULD be using. If you a SBST putter, you MUST use a face-balanced putter. Anything that is center-shafted or has a double bend neck. How fast are the greens you are playing? The faster the green, the heavier the putter. We can narrow this way down for you.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:07 AM
Police departments asking for drones is possibly the stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever heard of, though. God I hate police.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:07 AM
Has there ever been a law proposed more intrusive that vaginal probes for women considering abortion? I mean, that is literally intrusive for the women while ordering doctors to perform unnecessary procedures. The law passed by a majority and was thankfully vetoed (by a non-bat shit crazy asshole misogynistic GOP governor).
/Small Government’d
//Romney lost women by 11 points and women were 53% of voters
///Everyone saw this coming
November 13th, 2012 at 10:07 AM
But then you could not align with the Democrats either, as you do not agree with their fiscal platforms. If it’s about picking sides, some people choose the side with the platform on the issue/issues that matter the MOST to them, personally. I dont see anything wrong with that.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:08 AM
Wrong. On both counts.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:08 AM
You sound like Dick Cheney you cunt.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:09 AM
I like it too, but I line the Metal-X better. It’s louder. I hate the soft inserts. It’s why the tour guys use a MUCH harder insert than is on the shelf. With no noise, you get no “fell” or “feedback”, especially on a FB putter. The #7 is a great design.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:09 AM
“You cannot align with a party that has those social platforms but disagree with them, that’s not how this works.”
You realize you can flip that statement on its head and it makes just as much sense?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:10 AM
der kaiser…thsoe are great points, no doubt.
but al qaeda isn’t exactly flourishing these days, but aside from wiping out the entire FATA region, it’s not going away, no matter how many drones you fly overhead.
im FAR less worried about the drones in pakistan than i am with the drones in africa and yemen/iran.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:11 AM
Define “align” because the rest of it makes no sense. Not everyone drives around with I support (insert case here) and I vote bumper stickers on their cars.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:11 AM
I may not be as SBST as I thought because when times are good with my current putter, they have been really, really good. I got a tip from a pro (and his caddy) the other day and they have me standing a little more upright with the ball a little further in my stance than it had been. They thought I was shifting my shoulders too much with my old setup.
Greens at my course are really fast, especially for tournaments when they roll them.
I like Spencer’s rec. Luke Donald’s putter, no?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:11 AM
Sometimes, for the greater good, you have to do things that are inhumane. It’s tough, but you just have to do it.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:11 AM
You seem surprised that Douchey McDouchealot said something douchey. You should know better.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:11 AM
This is a key point. We’re not deploying drone strikes in Tehran or Istanbul or Mumbai. Terrorist leaders are being sheltered in Pakistan and we have no real method of getting to them outside of dangerous special forces assaults…on foreign soil. Imagine the shitstorm that would occur should a US special forces team get captured in Pakitsan.
It’s a flawed but effective technique against an evolved combatant.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:12 AM
Drone strikes? What we need is a big old fashioned war..someone get Germany on the phone..or China…Yeah, at the beginning China would do some damage due to their size, but over the long haul the logistics of having to keep a army’s morale high and fighting like feeding it, would be their downfall.

Show me someone who agrees with every single aspect of their party’s platform, and I’ll show you a really, really shitty person to be around.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:12 AM
This. I don’t see how anyone could agree with all a parties platforms, that are painted broad enough to suit half of a country of 300 million people. Unless you are a mindless drone.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:13 AM
Give me a superior alternative then. What is a safer and more effective method of hunting terrorists?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:13 AM
“Has there ever been a law proposed more intrusive that vaginal probes for women considering abortion? I mean, that is literally intrusive for the women while ordering doctors to perform unnecessary procedures. The law passed by a majority and was thankfully vetoed (by a non-bat shit crazy asshole misogynistic GOP governor).”
Exactly my point. Reps are for limited, non-intrusive government, except when they aren’t. And, I don’t see the Dems ever scaling back their desire to over-regulate and tax. I do, however, believe that there are enough younger conservatives that are more libertarian than conservative, and it’s on them that I’m pinning my hopes. We just need to show up in the numbers necessary in the primaries to outvote the baby jesus lovers.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:13 AM
Yep. When you look in a mirror in your putting stance, you should not be able to tell whether it’s a belly putter, or normal length. The shaft and your forearms form a direct line. Eyes OVER the ball. Putting is the easiest part of the game. Less moving parts.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:13 AM

I wouldn’t pin your electoral hopes on libertarians. America has shown a stunning unwillingness to subscribe to Ayn Rand philosophies. I think some sensible libertarian concepts could take on a greater importance within the conservative movement, but it will never be a dominant theology. Doesn’t scale.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:16 AM
“Show me someone who agrees with every single aspect of their party’s platform, and I’ll show you a really, really shitty person to be around.”
Crackerjack, meet Queefer.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:16 AM
Never heard it put like that. I’ll check my stance out. I’m a really streaky putter and I feel like I’ve been relying on that to get good scores. But I miss too many 8-10′ putts these days and therefore I think it’s time for somethng new.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:17 AM
weight matters more than soft/hard, in my opinion. heavier weight for faster greens, lighter weight for slower…lead tape makes this pretty easy, but your scotty’s got weights too.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:17 AM
“I wouldn’t pin your electoral hopes on libertarians. America has shown a stunning unwillingness to subscribe to Ayn Rand philosophies. I think some sensible libertarian concepts could take on a greater importance within the conservative movement, but it will never be a dominant theology. Doesn’t scale.”
I know reading comprehension isn’t your forte, but you pretty much completely misconstrued what I wrote. Being “more libertarian than conservative” doesn’t equal “libertarian.”
November 13th, 2012 at 10:17 AM
Seriously Dick Cheney, evolved combat? Preventive preemptive war against some of the poorest people on earth living in mountains between tribal warfare, good job good effort.
You can have poor farmers align economically with the Taliban because they’ll protect their opium crops, that’s utilitarian and frankly normal. But when you have the upper classes galvanized against you and righteously that’s how major assaults get funded.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:18 AM
That’s fancy.

November 13th, 2012 at 10:19 AM
Yeah, you can tell by my lingo and lack of knowledge that I haven’t thought much about putting in the recent development of my game. I’ve gone from an 8 to a 4 this year and I want the putter to be the thing that takes me from a 4 to a 2.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:20 AM
not really sure there’s a quantifiable answer but…with a full shaft offset putter (i.e. anser style), im not arguing the above, but with a half-shaft offset (flow neck, etc) ive found i roll the ball better by putting the ball farther back in my stance with my hands more forward than usual.
with both tho, hands stay completely quiet.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:20 AM
Islamic terrorists are a lot more sophisticated from a technique standpoint that you’re willing to admit. Evolved combat simply means that you’re not fighting defined nations in land wars with tanks.
Again, what is your alternative to drone strikes?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:22 AM
“Again, what is your alternative to drone strikes?”
What is your answer to the question, what would happen if we weren’t conducting the drone strikes?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:23 AM
Canada, you are here to listen and not speak.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:23 AM

I think I may be getting a gift card to go get fitted at Cool Clubs or one of those places in Dallas. I think they do putter fittings there, too.

Legalized drugs, end to economic sanctions and stop killing Muslims.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:24 AM
ive tried the nome a lot and it performs extremely well…just cannot stand how it looks.
putting’s an art brother…there’s a bunch of different ways to do it, but there’s no quicker way to fuck yourself up by trying a bunch of different techniques and approaches. sergio wasn’t making any more putts doing a bunch of bullshit than he would if he just used his old technique (which wasn’t that bad). phil tinkers constantly…makes sense he’s a streaky putter.
tiger used teh same scotty for a fuckin’ decade. scott verplank’s using an old ping from the 70′s or 80′s he got from his coach at okla state.

Lifting them out of poverty and education, which is difficult when you are bombing fucking schools.
We’re like 90% of the 9/11 guys from Saudi? Terror threat will always exist and the best way to deal with them is having effective intel.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:26 AM
a measured, cooperative, humanitarian foreign policy because who wants to fuck someone up when they’re trying to help?
November 13th, 2012 at 10:27 AM
That’s bullshit, and you know it. You know who bombs the schools over there? Terrorists. You know who kills the garbage men and destroy power stations so neighborhoods are miserable? Terrorists. You know who murders teachers? Terrorists.
No, we’re not perfect on drone strikes and we’ve been too cavalier with deployment. And I agree that we need to build up education…after the country is stable. But this is the world we live in. These guys want to kill us. Maybe if these villagers and countrymen were more willing to turn these fuckers in this kind of thing wouldn’t happen.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:28 AM
Uhm, there are 3 of us. And now, technically, 4.
Yeah. And I’m not too, too much of a tinkerer when it comes to technique. I just need something to be confident in and after that, I know I can make those 12′ birdie putts, and when I do that I’m less worried about 3 jacking when I don’t put one close to the pin. Some of that has been lacking with this putter that I have. I’ve had it for a couple years now so time for a change…plus I needed to talk a little golf before this meeting.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:29 AM
I don’t think they talking about golf anymore.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Poor people from Yemen mostly.
Chances of dying in a terrorist attack would be about 1.7 million to 1
Dying in the next year in transportation accident: 77 to 1
Methinks the warmongers doth protest too much.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:31 AM
UBL was a goddammed millionaire. Yes, a lack of education and religious fundamentalism will always make it easy for smart terrorist leaders to convince people to martyr themselves in pursuit of anti-Western sentiment. But we can’t pretend that building schools and powerplants will end terrorism.
Iraq should be a stern warning for moving too quickly.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:32 AM
No doubt. All I’m saying is I have a problem with anyone who says they vote Republican but they are “purely” fiscal conservatives. That’s great and I respect that view, but you’re more than likely voting for a candidate who is putting forward an aggressive socially conservative platform. If the “majority” of young Republicans are only Republicans because of fiscal ideals than the GOP is well and truly fucked on the national stage because they keep having to put forward socially far right candidates to appease the loud and incredibly wealthy far right backers.

November 13th, 2012 at 10:35 AM
Good one. Exactly as douchey as expected.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
ritty…maybe try a different approach. instead of putting to a cup or something of a similar size, try putting to a can of copenhagen. it’s smaller than a real cup so when you actaully go to putt to a hole, it’ll seem HUGE.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
This is called Complex Interdependence. And it’s getting more and more far from reality because of the military-industrial complex. Which is a shame, because it’s pretty much the perfect international relations approach.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:38 AM
no doubt…eisenhower was quite the pimp.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
In my “manroom” I putt the first ball so that it snuggle against the wall on the opposite side of the room. Then I try to stack balls on top of each other, and when I’m on a practice green, I stick a tee in the ground and try to hit that. So yeah, I’m with you on the mental/visual. When I’m playing, if I’m putting bad, I’m whiffing the hole completely.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
You would not maintain that the only casualty of a terrorist attack is lives, correct? UBL’s goal on 9/11 was to draw America into a protracted, unwinnable conflict that crippled us financially. We’re still suffering from the effects of 9/11 even today. There are real benefits to stopping these guys beyond loss of life.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:39 AM

November 13th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
Agree. I just mean that the arms and shaft line up perfectly when viewed from DTL. ALL good putters do it that way. Do some people get hot for a week not doing it that way? Sure. But GOOD putters do it that way.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:44 AM

November 13th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
Just read it.
November 13th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
Yes to the first part. There was a team of CIA analysts working on the UBL trail, many of whom were women. Bergen used psuedonyms to describe the CIA analysts, but two of the long-time trackers were women.
As to your second question, the CIA got information on Bin Laden’s courier, whose movements, when combined with other intel, led them to the Abattobad complex.
