High School Quarterback Throws For 837 Yards, 10 TDs in 104-80 Victory Over Only School With Worse Defense Than His Team
Will Grier is a junior quarterback at Davidson Day high school in North Carolina. On Friday night Grier had an insane statistical game, completing 35 of 42 passes for 837 yards and 10 touchdowns. Davidson Day defeated Harrell’s Christian 104-80. I have to assume that the kids play both sides of the ball at Davidson Day and were too tired from scoring touchdowns to hold their opponents under 80. Still, they’re probably going to be running laps after school today while Grier has cheerleaders feeding him juice boxes.
Grier’s 10 touchdown passes tied a national record and brought his season total to 64 – two short of a national record. His 5,294 passing yards this season bested Chris Leak’s national record.
Grier has scholarship offers from East Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Wake Forest. Other schools (Auburn, South Carolina, and LSU to name a few) have also shown interest. For some reason, Duke is also sniffing around Grier. Perhaps they didn’t hear that real football schools are interested.

I feel like those are the average QB stats of anyone going up against the Eagles defense nowadays.

I would pick my school based entirely around drinking which would leave my top choice being Tulane.
