Frank Martin Offering Free Food to Students Who Attend the South Carolina Home Opener

Frank Martin is about to start his first season as the head basketball coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks. With just 8 NCAA tournament appearances in the school’s history and 1 March Madness appearance in the last decade, Martin has his work cut out for him if he wants South Carolina a basketball school. Martin will start building his program by bribing the students with free food. That’s right, it’s on him this afternoon. What does “free food” mean exactly? He doesn’t say, buy hopefully SC students take advantage of the offer. You can never have too many $8 slices of pizza.

Random question, can players transfer with their coaches if the coaches take another job without penalty? I don’t remember hearing about anyone leaving k-state with Frank’s departure.
