Thomas Robinson Ejected For Violent Elbow to the Throat of Jonas Jerebko

Thomas Robinson, the rookie from Kansas, got tossed from an NBA game Wednesday for this violent elbow to the throat of Detroit’s Jonas Jerebko. Robinson will almost certainly be suspended for a couple games. And in the event you think Robinson was responding to a cheap shot from Jerebko … no. Robinson just snapped. This is the worst NBA elbow I’ve seen since Metta World Peace drilled James Harden last season.

Robinson just snapped.
Don’t agree with this, seemed he made a decision to hit him and than calmly lived with the consequences. He didn’t even seem angry.

And I agree that it seemed pretty unlike TRob based on how I saw him play at KU. Physical player, but don’t ever remember seeing anything dirty.

Oh he got close, but he was the most athletic scariest man on the court in pretty much every game so people backed down after about a second of thought.
