Minor League Hockey Goalie Fined For Giving Opposing Fans Dressed as Gladiators a Gatorade Shower [Video]
Minor league hockey – where the athletes can almost definitely hear you yell. This particular group got to John Curry, the backup goalie for the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears (the correct answer to the question “Which bear is best?”). After the Bears loss against the Gwinnett Gladiators, Curry waited for all his teammates and coaches to head to the lockerroom before throw some water and/or Gatorade up over the glass and then spraying the fans with a water bottle before heading down the tunnel to join his team. The ECHL fined Curry an undisclosed amount yesterday. [via Puck Daddy]

In high school during practice on the real hot days the coaches would bring out Gatorade for us. I never understood why everyone got excited because I realized it just made me thirstier.
