2012: 32nd
2011: 34th
2010: 35th
2009: 8th

That doesn’t look like a good situation for MSU. They have to compete with Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Wisconsin for recruits. They will continue to have a fundamentally sound defense as long as Narduzzi is there, but will suffer a talent disadvantage against the top of the B1G unless recruiting changes.

Most of the defense will be back next year. Have a stud QB coming in, and a stud RB coming in. I think MSU will be continue to be pretty good. Just lost all the close games this year, but them be da breaks.
