Celtic Stunned Barcelona With 2-1 Champions League Upset [Video]
Celtic suffered a gutting loss away to Barcelona two weeks ago on an extra-time goal from Jordi Alba in the Nou Camp. This time, the Hoops held on at home for a stunning 2-1 upset on two goals from Victor Wanyama and 18-year-old Tony Watt.
The Catalans held 84 percent of the possession and hit the post with multiple shots, but the Scottish club held on. Celtic now sits in second place in the group on seven points, with a three-point cushion. They hope to qualify from the group stage for the first time since 2008.
Barcelona must be worried about its awful defensive play so far this season. Being prolific going forward masks some erros, but Barca has now allowed five goals in four matches in the Champions League and 12 goals in 10 matches in the Primera Liga. This is a team that has conceded the fewest goals in La Liga for four-straight seasons.
Watt’s goal.

You’re Celtic United

You’re the best thing I’ve ever seen

Saw Celtic this summer. Didn’t look like they had that much talent (probably wasn’t the full squad).
This is an impressive win

I’ve never fully understood that Rod Stewart song.
Celtic is Celtic FC, not Celtic United, right?

Too bad the Rangers went bankrupt and had to go down to the third division. Soccer is better when the Old Firm is playing.

I watched the last game between these two with friend of mine who is a die hard Celtic fan. After that heart break of a goal scored with 15 seconds left in stoppage time, they deserve a big win like this.
