Riley Cooper Hid in the End Zone on This Failed Trick Play

This was almost one of the greatest trick plays ever in a NFL game. Riley Cooper lay down in the end zone lettering on the kickoff, jumped up and caught the pass, and raced down the sideline. Unfortunately, it was a clear forward lateral, and the play was negated.

Well I certainly look forward to the logical conclusion of this strategy:
“Hey, that’s weird, someone built a duck blind at the 10 yard line! I wonder why someone would do that? Oh well, better go run and tackle the kickoff return man on the opposite side of the field!”
