Jay Cutler Has Endorsed Mitt Romney For President
Rich guys with great heads of hair need to stick together. Jay Cutler was asked about his election thoughts on his weekly WMVP-AM 1000 radio show. He is supporting Mitt Romney.
“That’s a touchy subject,” Cutler said initially. “Yeah, I have been following the debates and everything. I do live in Tennessee. I’m voting for Mitt (Romney) this election season.”
Clear eyes. Full hearts. Weird body language. You can now choose your candidate accordingly, America.
This should go down well in Wisconsin.

Not sure why these guys do this crap. Especially in Chicago. Not doing yourself any favors once again, Jay.
November 5th, 2012 at 5:45 PM
You think fan are going to be upset with him because of this? Please. Just throw TDs and win games. That’s all that does or should matter.
November 5th, 2012 at 5:46 PM
Wilford Brimley tells all diabetes patients how to vote. And Wilford Brimley don’t vote for no $o$iali$t queers.

November 5th, 2012 at 5:48 PM
Who does he vote for in American Idol?
November 5th, 2012 at 5:48 PM
We had the same barber when he was at Vanderbilt, I’m sad to admit. I do doubt that Cutler was a liberal until he got the contract though. Indiana (I think he’s from IN) isn’t exactly a hotbed of progressive-thinkers.

Speaking of, is she over her TBL raping yet?

Matt ryan looks like a republican. I bet he is voting for that prick, too. Oh well, as long as he keeps throwing TDs, i dont care.

Mike Vick, RGIII, Cam Newton, and Russell Wilson look like Democrats.
Is that how this works?

Peyton Manning is probably a Republican. I dont really care. I am distressed that he bought/acquired 20 Papa Johns
November 5th, 2012 at 5:56 PM
Fuck that prick for threatening to raise pizza price if obama got elected. Bitch, you were gonna raise it anyways.

I think people that rely on fans and the public should stay out of politics. No matter what you say, people will get pissed. Aaron Rodgers was asked that question after the game and said who he votes for is his business.
I work in a small town of about 5000 people. There is a mom and pop restaurant here and they would go on their FB page and profess how much they love Scott Walker and Mitt Romney.
Needless to say a lot of people bitched to them. Last week they mentioned how slow business has been and that they wont be posting until after the election.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:00 PM

I don’t like it per se, but it is better the Pizza Hut. But that’s sort of like saying that it’s better for a girl to say hi to you rather than for her to kick you in the junk.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:01 PM
That’s actually pretty spot on. Though I don’t want to start the TBL writers to quarterbacks comparisons because I look most like Cutler.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:01 PM
I used to love PJ about 7 or 8 years ago. Then something happened. They became not as good and more expensive so I havent been there in years.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:01 PM
I’ve never had Papa John’s but I assume it’s Applebee’s to Little Caesar’s dogturd in a box
November 5th, 2012 at 6:02 PM
No. Little Caesars knows its role in the pizza industry. Papa Johns tries to trick people into thinking they are good.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:03 PM
I want to try Dominos new pan pizza. I have heard its not too bad as long as you know what to expect, mass produced pizza that conforms to the lowest common denominator.

No, no he does not look like a Democrat. In fact, he looks like the guy the Right would try to use as a way to show how cool they are.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:10 PM
I didn’t have the history to compare to, but I’ve heard that also. PJ’s is also kind of pricey… at least around here there are plenty of other mediocre pizza places that are cheaper.
I disagree completely, as long as the athlete can do so coherently. I just think it’s tough to support Romney for a reason other than “he’s not Obama” and “I’m rich and just want to keep as much of my money as possible”. Just like I don’t really care when a Steelers’ fan tries to tell me how great Roethlisberger is, I don’t really want to hear a rich guy tell me to vote for Romney or a welfare recipient telling me about Obama. I want objective reasoned arguments.
Obama has many flaws, the Republicans just seem content to let idiocy and rhetoric rule their appeal to the masses, and the masses don’t seem to care.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:12 PM
Fiance had a wedding-planning meltdown the other night. Kept telling myself, “God I can’t wait until this shit is over. We never have to talk about it again.” Then I remembered your words of warning. Then I opened another bottle of wine.
Ha! I sympathize….it is better after the wedding because at least there’s nothing else to plan. That takes a big load off, but yeah you will keep hearing things like “God I hate how the pictures came out” or “the DJ was terrible” for months.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:13 PM
Yeah, not a smart move in Chicago buddy. That said, any fan who dislikes a player because of their political preference can eat a dick.
With as many drives as Cutty throws away with terrible INTs, I’m surprised he’s not voting for Johnson.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:14 PM
For someone supposedly seeking reason, this comes off as rather unreasonable.

Nate Bronze (amirite) lists Obama with a 94.5 percent chance to win Wisconsin.
If that holds, both Ryan and Romney will lose their home states.

Clown story bro. At least he’s not performing a concert for a candidates campaign.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:16 PM
That’s a different story. Luke Scott was an asshole birther in Baltimore and I definitely disliked him because of it.
I just mean in general, you shouldn’t be disliked simply because you voted differently than a fan. Overt political endorsements are another story.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:17 PM
Wisconsin is going for Mitt, too, so, yeah.
Those pool cleaning chemicals are making you loopy. Mitt isn’t winning Wisconsin.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:17 PM
Just got around to reading the Bradshaw post from earlier. What the fuck is going on around here? JMac’s shit, while usually horribly written and asinine, are not outright lies. How the fuck does he let some dickbag make a post with a complete fucking lie in the title? Maybe tomorrow we’ll see something like: “Mike Shanahan says he’s glad that kid got eaten at the zoo.” Gotta love the QC here…sheesh
November 5th, 2012 at 6:18 PM
I can see why you say that, but I disagree. If Jay Cutler wants to keep as much money as possible, he’s going to vote for Romney and that is that.
If someone wants to vote for Romney or Obama when it would be a bad thing personally, then I’m interested to see what their reasoning is, as it probably has more depth to it. Maybe they aren’t always right/reasoned whatever, but I’m going to listen a lot closer to what they say. For people who can only see one side of the issue, I’m not sure they’ve thought about it enough to have a well-formulated opinion.

November 5th, 2012 at 6:35 PM
“I don’t really care. Just stating facts. Thought those might be relevant. Keep going with what the angels up above are telling you though.”
Whatever, fudgepacker. Poll results do not equal facts. Votes actually cast on Tuesday are the facts in question. If a poll samples 7-10% more Dems than Reps, especially in a year where it’s expected more Reps than Dems will vote, and that poll is counted evenly in an aggregation of polls, you’ve strayed a long way from stating “facts.”
I liked you better when you weren’t here. And I know I’m not alone.

98% of the ads on local television stations are political. Some of them comically mean spirited (wrong). It’s amazing shit like that is allowed to be broadcast to a public that is made up of idiots that can’t think for themselves for the most part.
My favorite is the one of the attractive mom/wife sitting in her big ass kitchen playing with her iPad… railing about how Obama’s spending policies are terrible for the country.

No doubt. But then again, for Silver to be wrong EVERYONE would have to be wrong. All he does is use other people’s polls to form a model.

Well, we were taking him at his word that he was a doctor.
True. However,
he was only around that one night but what an epic appearance it was.
Perhaps, I’m misremembering (topical!), but he was around for a spell before that. Not a frequent commenter, but he was around. It isn’t like TBL ok’d him to be a commenter on election night. It was a few months before that night that TBL mentioned in one of his threats to the commentariate that there were thousands of people that requested to be commenters that he was sitting on.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am really greatly offended by anyone who calls me a fudgepacker. I’m just so unsure about my sexuality, and this really causes me to think twice about having relations with any female. Because some guy called me a fudgepacker.

Politician #1: “What’s your campaign strategy been like so far?”
Politician #2: “Well it’s expensive, but I just give everyone I meet a dollar, and tell them to vote for me… how about you”

WWoS: you ever check out Sam Wang’s blog that was mentioned in the Deadspin piece? He’s got Obama with a 99 percent chance of re-election. the blog is much more dense than Silver’s but it has some really good data.
