Goal of the Weekend: The Liran Cohen Free Kick Was Spectacular, But So Was The Luis Suarez Goal Against Newcastle
Liran Cohen’s free kick for Podbeskidzie in the 89th minute to beat 2-1 Zaglebie Lubin was spectacular. The goalie anticipated the cross. Cohen bent it into the near corner. That win may also prove critical, with both teams battling to avoid relegation.
Was it the goal of the weekend? We’re still partial to Luis Suarez’ control and finish against Newcastle.
The Liverpool sprinkler malfunction and subsequent fan reaction was also pretty special.

I still think the red card on Coloccini was complete shit. I’m also completely biased.

That Suarez goal was fantastic. That touch around Krul — majestic.

It was. The Cabaye goal for Newcastle was also class. I think it says a lot about the state of Liverpool that I was disappointed Newcastle only got one point at Anfield.

Could Shelvey finish you get no points, the state of Newcastle is you got dominated on the ball by a team starting three teenagers and one decrepit senior citizen.

I don’t know much about soccer, but I do know that Suarez is a POS.

Yes, Liverpool is not very good . Hence the disappointment. Newcastle has played well about 4 matches this year. Most in Europa league.

So Duffy, when’s the Denard or Gardner post going up?

And yeah the Cabaye goal was great, guy is still very underrated. I enjoy this matchup more than any other each year.

Suck my ass, Dixon. Emre Belözoğlu got brought before the FA for racism charges three goddamn times while he was at Newcastle, you’ve not got a leg to stand on.

That Suarez goal was a thing of beauty. The Brits do have a funny way of pronouncing “Suarez,” though.

They can’t pronounce “aluminum” for god’s sake, let alone surnames.

Or “schedule,” for that matter.
