Victor Cruz Got Pulverized by Ryan Clark of the Steelers
Victor Cruz got lit up in the end zone by Ryan Clark of the Steelers, and surprisingly, the refs threw a flag on the play. It wasn’t a blow to the head – which is what the refs announced – and more importantly, it came on 3rd down, giving the Giants first and goal. Andre Brown scored one play later to tie the game at seven in the 2nd quarter.

No it wasn’t a fucking penalty, and neither was the pass interference call earlier in the drive that resulted in a 40 yard penalty. That drive was the NFL referee’s gift to NY in wake of Sandy.

Now Bill Leavy and crew are trying to give the NYG a defensive TD by ignoring an obvious forward pass attempt as well as a blatant clip on the return.
/is this how you do this, Seattle fans?

Waiting for the Big Rape “no fumble” video/GIF to appear. I believe it was knocked out of his and it was a fumble, the look on his face, he knew he lost it.

Roeth I will give the interference call. That was a bad call, when I saw it real time, I thought he grabbed the back of the jersey as the ball approached. In the reply, you can clearly see it was good defense and the shoulder grab was after the ball went by.
also, I don’t think Brown got across the goalline, thought his elbow touched the ground and the ball was short.

So, is the general feeling the league is going to ensure a post-Sandy Giants win the way it ensured the Saints a post-Katrina MNF win?
