John Clayton’s Wife Lost Election Job Because of Her Wheelchair
ESPN reporter John Clayton’s wife Patricia lost her job as a temporary election worker in King County on Monday, after there was a complaint about giving her special assistance because of her wheelchair. Mrs. Clayton, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, had been employed checking ballot signatures.
“They said there was a complaint – complaints from my co-workers that I was a burden to my co-workers asking them to assist me,” said Clayton.
Clayton needed coworkers “to push her to the break room and to bring her bins of envelopes.”
King County elections had no comment. Absolutely disgraceful.

Let’s just talk about Clayton looking like coming down off a two-week meth binge in that photo.

Sorry about the photo. I tried to find a better photo of Clayton. That was the only one on Presswire or Getty. It was that or the screen grab from the ponytail commercial.

Must be tough, being in a wheelchair and having to live in your mother-in-law’s basement.
/ Maaaa, goin’ to the mall!

If the co-orkers had a problem, did they first go to Clayton directly? Did they just talk about her behind her back?
Did she ask for help once a week, once a day, once an hour?

Would be nice to hear the other side of the story before passing judgement.

If she was fired because coworkers complained about her disability, King county board of elections could get into big trouble for violating the American with Disabilities Act.

King County Elections had the chance to comment and declined.

When Mrs. King collects on her lawsuit against the county, her husband won’t have to work anymore either.

TCU-WVU looking more like one of those 9-6 SEC classics rather than a Big 12 shootout.

She’s probably a bitch and a burden to work with.

Clayton is married to Hillary Clinton?!
/ Wish Hillary were running this year so I had someone to vote for

I post a story accusing you of molesting puppies. You decline comment. Therefore, it must be true. Good logic Duffy.

He didn’t say they that. He just said the people weren’t telling their side of the story.

Anyone, including the author Duffy, believing this story as Duffy tells it, is a moron. A complete and total brainless moron who also thinks Romney really an orthodox Jew.

Interesting. What would be the stone-cold, leadpipe cinch, lock, rational conclusion to reach?
November 3rd, 2012 at 5:08 PM
so, what’s the real story?
November 3rd, 2012 at 5:43 PM
