James Harden Dropped 45 Points on the Hawks
Can James Harden duplicate his opening night against the Pistons? Yes. He surpassed it. Now starting in Houston, Harden dumped 45 on the Hawks on 14-19 shooting, hitting 15/17 free throws. Only two assists tonight, though when you are shooting 74 percent, why bother passing?
Harden has 82 points through his first two games. The only two players in NBA history to score more through the first two games of a season? Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.

It’s a good financial necessity deal because OKC was able to salvage something out of it. But basketball wise it’s nowhere near a good deal. OKC did not become a better team with what they have, while Houston did.

Yes. This trade never had a good discussion here but it didnt bring OKC closer to a title. They panicked, or felt his worth had potential for devaluation. OKC front office bitched out.
