For me, money isn’t everything. I still make a sweet amount that affords a great house, but we’re still on strict budget because I’d rather be around more.

I still dont understand it fully, as Ive heard individual polling places can still ask you for ID.. but since it isn’t a law yet, do they have the power to turn you away?

They can ask you for ID if you’re a first time voter where you’re voting. You can also show a utility bill to prove residency. If you don’t have ID, you are still allowed to vote normally.

It doesn’t help that the state is still running ads telling people to show ID at the polls.
