As a Cards fan, I would’ve been happy for the Giants if their fans hadn’t made so much of Holliday’s slide and him getting karmic payback–because karma cares about bad slides, but not PEDs.

Please – enough with the idiotic comments. The Detroit Tigers are the American League Pennant winners. The State has a lot to be proud of. Why the Internet brings out the bitter loser in people is beyond me. The Giants deserved to win, but Detroit remains a great sports town.

I am happy because if Cabrera had won the Triple Crown AND the World Series, the sportswriters would have been unsufferable.
