RG3 Called for Offensive Pass Interference When the Redskins (Crazily) Sent Him Deep
Robert Griffin III is one of the most talented QBs in the NFL, and he’s only a rookie. He’s already been knocked out of one game. As long as he can stay healthy, everyone has seen what he’s capable of.
I’m always going to applaud creativity, but why would the Redskins throw deep to RG3? That’s what they did this afternoon against Pittsburgh. The trick play fooled nobody.
RG3 had two defenders near him, and in an attempt to get open, pushed a DB, and got called for pass interference. The bigger story? Check out the shot he takes from safety Ryan Clark.
Why put the franchise at risk on a gimmick play in the 2nd quarter against one of the hardest hitting teams in the NFL?

Clark launched himself up and will end up getting fined for going high on that one.
