Manti Te’o's Diving Interception Clinched Him a Heisman Finalist Place
All, College Football October 27th. 2012, 11:20pm
With a 20-13 lead in the fourth quarter, Manti Te’o intercepted his fifth pass of the season to set up the field goal to make it 23-13. He also has 11 tackles and a sack. This play clinched him a trip to New York. If Notre Dame holds on, they are a win at USC away from the BCS Title Game.

Oregon could score 700 points a game but no way they get in over unbeaten ND.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:27 PM
Last sentence should include “and if Oregon and KState stumble”
Sorry, but no chance Notre Dame leaps either of those two if all 3 go undefeated.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:30 PM
An unbeaten ND will play for the title. It is what it is.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:30 PM
ND would get rolled by Bama, oregon, and Kstate. But hey, im all in favor of ND getting embarrassed in another BCS game against another SEC team,
October 27th, 2012 at 11:32 PM
Notre Dame is going to move up in the polls. They are Notre Dame.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:33 PM
ND would have wins over the two best teams on Oregon’s schedule, and the best team on K-State’s. No way they have a shot over unbeaten ND.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:34 PM
Michigan lost so I’m happy. USC looks like a fraud. Will wait for the date rape of Bama against ND.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:35 PM
Of course they’d get rolled by all the other unbeaten teams, just like they were supposed to tonight. And the would have if it weren’t for Stoops choking yet another big game
October 27th, 2012 at 11:36 PM
I will laugh my ass off if ND is the team to break the SEC streak.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:36 PM
Uh, “wake up the echoes”?
I’m sick of OU not getting it done on the big stage.
Anybody wanna talk baseball?
October 27th, 2012 at 11:37 PM
FYI last 2 times ND was unbeaten in Nov, they lost to BC. They play BC in Chestnut Hill Nov 10.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:37 PM
NO.FUCKING.WAY.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:39 PM
The brady quinn Nd team had an offense that was light years better than this one. LSU rolled them like a blunt. Bama is SHUTTING out the 11th ranked team right now. Imagine what this bama D would do to thr ND quarterbacks
October 27th, 2012 at 11:40 PM
Ty, i agree with you n the polls. Its bullshit but you’re right. Voters fall in love with the name
October 27th, 2012 at 11:48 PM
11th ranked team? It’s Mississippi state.
ND needs to worry about Pitt and BC, they haven’t exactly been blowing people out this year, even the shitty teams.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:49 PM
Alabama and LSU will be nuts next weekend. I just pray it’s more fun than last years title game.

Yup. For sure. They nearly lost to Purdue.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:53 PM
KState and Oregon shoulda played that game…will be tough to beat ND in computers.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:53 PM
I think it will be a repeat of the BCS title game. alabama is even better on offense this year and their defense is just pissing all over people.

Says more about ou than nd. Cashed in on nd p12.5 tho

OSU would beat ND. Fact
October 28th, 2012 at 12:04 AM
Hey Vlad….what does the sanctions against OSU mean in regards to the Big 10 title game? Even if they run the table are they eligible to play in the game but just can’t go to a bowl game?
October 28th, 2012 at 12:08 AM
They can be declared Leaders winners. That’s about it. Not eligible to play in title game.
October 28th, 2012 at 12:10 AM
So with michigan losing three games already and likely 4 when they go to Ohio….who do you think is most likely to play in that game?
October 28th, 2012 at 12:14 AM
Probably Nebraska/Michigan VS Wisky to be destroyed by Oregon/USC in the Rose Bowl.
October 28th, 2012 at 12:18 AM
Ok gotcha. thanks
October 28th, 2012 at 12:20 AM
Almost definitely going to be Nebraska vs. Wisconsin.
Barring Nebraska just blowing a game (entirely possible), Michigan needs to win out and have Sparty beat Cornhuskers at home.
October 28th, 2012 at 12:22 AM
Michigan- now that you’ve see what the 2 years (minimum) post-Denard look like, hows that going?
October 28th, 2012 at 12:33 AM
Next year should be rough. But it will all depend on how Shane Morris develops. Michigan will surround him with talent. And have recruited tremendously on the OL. IMO, Michigan will still compete with OSU for the foreseeable future.
October 28th, 2012 at 12:58 AM
Manti…ha….i guess when the qb is black you gotta find someone else to hype. This guy is a dime a dozen in the SEC. Wonder who’d be getting the props if the qb was white.
October 28th, 2012 at 1:01 AM
Or when the QBs arent very good, you showcase the defense which had carried the offense all year. But keep on making stupid comments because you excel at those
October 28th, 2012 at 1:09 AM
I hope they do continue unbeaten. Otherwise all you’ll hear in the offseason is that one hiccup. When they get crushed by BAMA then hopefully the media will have some shame. So it won’t be eight months of ND could be ranked 1St.
October 28th, 2012 at 1:19 AM
Can we all agree that The Landry Jones Era at OU has been a bust? A couple blowout wins over bad Texas teams and beating UConn in the Fiesta Bowl….whoopdy-damn-doo.
October 28th, 2012 at 1:27 AM
Qb aren’t very good? That’s not what i saw. I saw a qb who made great throws when he had to. I guess Quinn was great? Gain a ton of yards but can’t come through when the game’s on the line? Why don’t you make a valid point based on facts rather than the hype?
October 28th, 2012 at 2:12 AM
Good to see everyone still thinks ND is a fraud. Just need Ritty to confirm that Manti sucks.
Y’alls some hating ass bitches.
October 28th, 2012 at 5:29 AM
Bob Golic will be insufferable if ND makes it.
October 28th, 2012 at 8:29 AM
Last I saw Bob Golic he was part of a local tv Browns post game show. But I guess he could work ND into the conversation.
I enjoy hating on ND as much as anyone, but the overall body of work so far this year is the best in the country. Bama/Oreg haven’t played anyone with a pulse, KSU is the fruadiest of frauds.
October 28th, 2012 at 9:55 AM
ND is winning the point of attack on defense and tackling very very well. ORE is about the only team that could put up a lot of points on them. If ND can avoid special teams errors, they are going to be in every game. They’d be a valid player in a title game. Much more talented teams than them have gone to the title game and bitched out. It happens.
We’re lucky we have 4 very good teams in the nation this year. ALA, ND, ORE, KSU.
October 28th, 2012 at 10:45 AM
ill take ND’s defense over oregon and k-state’s offenses.
also…linebacker who? penn state is fucking horrible…hope bill o’brien gets his ass out of there ASAP. he’s too good a coach to be stuck with such shitty fans and a shittier situation.
October 28th, 2012 at 11:17 AM
And you wonder why people hate OSU fans, even in victory you got no class. Linebackers had trouble making plays when they themselves were being tackled. Fuck Jim Delaney, he ordered an OSU win and got one with his goon squad refs.
October 28th, 2012 at 1:36 PM
if ND wins out….they will play in the BCS Championship.
