Justin Verlander got owned by Pablo Sandoval in Game 1 of the World Series, as Sandoval hit three home runs, the first two off of Verlander. At least he’s a good sport about it. Here’s Verlander sporting a panda shirt that says “Property of Pablo Sandoval”.

Not to ruin the narrative here… But that picture was taken at US Cellular field in Chicago (you can tell by the background). So unless they stopped there on the way back to Detroit this was taken weeks ago. Ominous foreshadowing though.

Upton certainly makes life a little more pleasant, but when your team can’t generate more than 1 run in two games you can’t be too upset with your performance. Mental errors and shit slides, this could be 1-1.
