Wait, I hope that wasn’t interpreted as a defense of Lance. I was objecting to the point everybody cheated and that made it okay. There were plenty of clean guys. They just didn’t do well because there were so many dopers so they were rendered irrelavent.

It’s silly to provided passed drug tests as proof of innocence. Considering what we’ve learned about how easy it is to avoid those tests when you know you can’t pass it or how you can take steps to clean your blood prior to testing.

I’ve been critical of Bud on some things but I placed a lot of blame on the union too in baseball. Lot of look-awayers. I’d say on the anti-Bud scale of commenters, I am pretty low.

And again, I don’t care if he cheated and I don’t care about cycling. I’m more perturbed by the fact that had he not won all of those races, he wouldn’t be collecting 200K speaking fees to talk about his foundation that really does more to line his pockets than cure cancer.
