This is some excellent truthiness. A&M has been playing little brother to UT for awhile now (pretty much since R.C. Slocum left but really even farther back than that) and it absolutely kills them to no end. They are the text book example of a collective inferiority complex.

the latest example being aggie raising $450MM to build a new stadium that will have exactly one seat more than DKR.

Texas is the first college football program to jump fully into being a brand, a business venture and a television product.

All colleges are brands, their football teams more so than anything else at the schools. And if we’re going to say that one is the first, wouldn’t it be Notre Dame? Their business venture is being a televsion product which promotes the brand of the school and helps recruit players and non-athlete students.
