I’m staying at the Hilton in North Houston. Looks like its right where I-45 meets Texas Route 8. About 10 miles from the airport

Sam Houston Race Park isn’t far from there. Plus, the Willowbrook area is nice. Probably can find a Brickhouse or Hooters over there. I know there is a micro-brewery/pub called BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse at 249 and 1960

There really haven’t been any crazy offensive teams this year like we’ve had the last few years. Only team I see that could beat Alabama on a neutral field is Oregon. I don’t think their talent is as good as last year but they have the best coaching staff and a head coach who isn’t letting them be complacent.

You’d be amazed how many people come to Dallas just to go see the two X’s on Elm Street where Kennedy was shot

My favorite part is the idiots who walk out to pose on the xx’s, then go diving when cars come rolling down the hill on Elm because you see it’s A FUCKING STREET IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS ASSHOLES.

These two areas don’t even compare. I lived my first 18 years in West and Southwest Houston. Yes there are some rough spots, but Southwest Houston is so much nicer than it used to be. Especially around Meyerland.

Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston. Not a heck of a lotta difference between the 3. They’re all so-so tourist towns.

You’d be amazed how many people come to Dallas just to go see the two X’s on Elm Street where Kennedy was shot. If you head down that way in the middle of the day you’re pretty much guaranteed to see Asians taking pictures on the grassy knoll.
