Charles Woodson Out For Six Weeks With a Broken Collarbone
Jay Glazer is reporting that Packers safety Charles Woodson is out with a broken collarbone. Friday, I did a post on the All-Injury team both noting that all the team needed was some safeties, and also that the Charles Woodson was the only Defensive Player of the Year from the last five seasons who was healthy.
You’re welcome, Packers fans.

Division is yours for the taking, Bears. Get on it. Starting tonight, please.

You’re welcome, Packers fans.
Thanks, jackass.

prescient.
This is a brutal business.

LOL at the thought that Woodson going down for 6 weeks makes the Bears a better team.

He hands over the Heisman and the football gods give him back his clavicle.

God help me when I start agreeing with SC
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:07 PM
I agree. Ryan Leaf surely deserved it in 1997.

Ahmad Carroll at least gets the benefit of being broken in against Jacksonville and Arizona. Detroit and New York will pose a pretty big challenge without Woodson. Green Bay better be giving those two QBs less than 4 seconds to throw the ball.

It certainly doesn’t make the Packers a better team.
And Christian Ponder’s Vikings are still lurking about.

Gotta imagine it’s a bitch to bang on the drum all day with a broken collarbone.
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:10 PM
Nicely done.
That’s two broken collarbones in two years and I would think an incredibly hard injury to heal fully especially for a safety. Tremendous loss for the Pack.
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:11 PM
Christian Ponder Steele won’t lead the Vikes to the playoffs this year.
Someone killed off the Lions in the Summer.
Packers can still score in bunches so not ready to hand over the Division to the Bears just yet.
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:13 PM
The Bears are coming up on all the good defenses the Packers have already had to face…they can’t keep counting on their defense to score every game so I’m expecting the records to merge over the coming weeks
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:14 PM
It never fully heals back to it’s original structure. Unlike most other injuries now-a-days where the guy usually comes back with a stronger part. Clavicle is a tricky one. The cast they strap on these guys is so cumbersome too.

I agree with Butters. The Bears have played the easy part of their schedule, which sadly continues tonight.
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:15 PM
Carlos Rogers agrees. Well he would, if he was not high as a kite on a blustery day.

Thanks, jackass.
I’ve noticed that Pats Packers fans are awfully sensitive/insecure about how other fans view their team.
I was being sarcastic dude.

Please correct this.

James Harrison is healthy. He’s just not good at football any more.

Amazing how ineffective he becomes when he can’t lay dirty hits on players every other snap.

If it’s good enough for Jordan, it’s good enough for me…I’ve been embarrassingly brand loyal to them on the shoe front for over a decade now, was crushed to discover they no longer make non-flip flop sandals
October 22nd, 2012 at 3:48 PM
I don’t think I’ve owned a pair of Nike shoes in probably 15 years.

I’m okay with this move; mainly for one reason:
1. Tiger forced them to make quality golf equipment. They don’t really “lead” in any one aspect of their golf offerings, but they make some good wedges, balls, shoes, and forged irons. Damn good. Their golf clothing should continue to get better and offer more colorways and styles.

I was with Adidas for several years. Now I’m on to New Balance. And yes I do wear them with jeans and a tucked in button down shirt.

This has been done by a lot of oranizations. I saw they can just dump it into a scanner of some sorts and it can rearragnge them too. The amount of consumer money spent on shredders is hilarious though. 90% of consumer fraud is done by a family member or person in your household. “Dumpster diving” was like .02% of fraud or somehting like that.

Argo is getting all kinds of good feedback, one of the few flicks I’m looking forward to this fall.
Affleck’s turning into a pretty good director, maybe he can show Kevin Smith a few tricks.

I’ve still been playing like 3 times every two weeks. Game’s still in decent shape; I had a 83 the other day with 2 horse shoes and bogeys on par 5s. I’m already looking forward to next year where I can stop spending so much time on my swing and get back to the 50 yards and in game for scoring.

It’s not brilliant or anything, the character development falls short, but it’s still very entertaining.

October 22nd, 2012 at 4:44 PM
I’ve been playing for more than two decades, and this is the first time I hear that expression. What’s a horse shoe in golf?
October 22nd, 2012 at 4:48 PM
who would you have gotten to play tony mendez?
Carlos Mencia.
Just kidding. Affleck is fine. it’s not the acting it’s that the script doesn’t really delve into who the people involved are. I realize that they were trying to keep the story moving along and not get muddled in the details, but the characters lose something because of it. See the movie and you’ll know what I mean.
