I’ve talked myself into it. Decline the penalty is a safety (which you can onside kick, harder, but you can and make shit happen). But short just need a couple kneel downs without that risk. All honesty no one will read this.

Take the penalty, take the 9 point lead, have them kick (punt really, not even an onside) and kill the clock w/ 2 kneel downs.
