Dallas Stars Ice Girls Spending NHL Lockout Making Country Music Videos

All, NHL, Video Stephen Douglas October 18th. 2012, 11:59am

The NHL lockout continues despite the league offering players a 50/50 revenue split. With no hockey people like the Dallas Stars Ice Girls are left without ice to scoop. So they are forced to make viral videos. And since this is the NHL, they can’t even make traditional Gangnam Style or Call Me Maybe videos. They’re forced to do original stuff like cover Little Big Town’s “Pontoon” a song about going to a lake to drink and motorboat. Wait. That sounds incredible. I hope the lockout never ends! Weeeeee! *runs around with sparklers*

We do it a couple times a summer. Although, “motorboat” isn’t exactly accurate. One mostly anchors down and proceeds to drink while sitting on the water.
And this song has been playing as I type this. Good god, country music is awful. It isn’t even country (argument for another day.) This is just lazy.

By the way arkbadger, I see ARK is picking it up lately. I know it was AUB & KEN, but maybe the coaching staff said fock it and the let kids just go at without a care? Good to see that OFF put up some pts lately.
I think at this point they are still fools gold, although I will admit to not seeing that Auburn game coming. they play ole piss next week, and sadly, that game will show how far they have come along. I am actually enjoying not being completely melancholy towards the football team anymore though. I thought they would have trouble winning another game.

I’m gonna say ARK -3 (maybe -4.5 tops) going into that game. I like ARK at home, and I know both teams will be coming off the BYE. Still a good chance going to the Thanksgiving weekend vs. LSU at 6-5. The ARK/LSU game is always a classic, I enjoy watching it as much as the AUB/ALA game believe it or not. Though I don’t get as pissed about it, the same when Bama loses.
