Speaking of that, I got attacked by a duck a few weeks ago. Brought the kid to the “lake” in the subdivision to feed the ducks, opened the bag of bread and a couple of dozen ducks came running at me. I threw out some bread but they kept coming and one of them started “biting” at my leg. Scared me shitless, I must admit. I ran. (had picked up the kid when they started charging).

Jet skiers get attacked by Swans around here on my lake. I’ve been a victim once. For some reason the swans are intimidated by them. It’s a scary sight when you see an angry swan open up his wings and chases you around in a no wake zone.

They’ve got tradition – something like 12th in wins all time, three Heisman trophy winners, etc.

And they can drop $4 million on a coach without a problem.

Tennessee is also top tier. Both are certainly top tier compared to Arkansas and South Carolina.

Speaking of Arkansas, Petrino will be Auburn’s next coach. He’s fondly remembered by some who wished he had gotten the job back in the day. And he has no buyout.

So, when he gets the job coaching South Florida or somewhere, Auburn is off the hook. I would expect him to be out of coaching for a year, so I expect Auburn to be out about $2.5 million. Since they don’t have to buy out Petrino, problem solved.

Well, the 2013 draft. In 2014, I agree, James is a stud, AJ Johnson is a stud, McCullers. There is a lot of talent on this team, which makes the results on the field that much more disappointing. Such a poorly coached team.
