Miami Hurricane Fans Continue to Be Everywhere Except the Stadium
What’s the excuse today, Miami fans? The Hurricanes host UNC this afternoon and it’s not even an early start, yet the stadium is glaringly empty and somehow worse than it was a few weeks ago when The U played host to N.C. State. For an overly vocal, seemingly proud fanbase, it’s endlessly amusing that almost no one can manage to get out of bed or out of the club to watch their beloved football team actually play football.
For the record, this photo was taken 18 minutes before kickoff.

Wow, that’s horrible. And this coming from an atlanta sports fan.

that’s like a d3 game broke out in a d1 stadium

Really, again? You guys already did this post prior to the N.C. State game. People in South Florida don’t go to sporting events. This isn’t something new. At around seven, can I expect a “the sun goes down” post?

@robioland: Yes.

Replete with Lisk charts and a shoehorned Tebow angle.

I would be in the parking lot 18 minutes before kickoff too. Do canes fans fill the 76,000 seat stadium that is 40 minutes from campus? No. Is the stadium this empty during the game? Also No. This is a clown post, bro.

Exactly. Why would you be at the stadium when the teams playing it aren’t even there?
October 13th, 2012 at 4:50 PM
Yawn. The stadium remains emptier than Drew Storen’s stare.

Wow, you guys are pathetic, they had 50k+ fans for the game. Taking a picture hours before the game and bitching about the fans is pretty stupid. Hey everyone, lets watch the grounds crew work.
You have some kind of vendetta?

Was right before kickoff, Slappy.
