“OU Anthem:” Oklahoma Has a Rap Song [Regrettable Video]

This is a white guy rapping. I know – what are the odds that Oklahoma University could find a white guy in Oklahoma (O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A)? Brace yourself before you watch this video. How he came up with the line about getting your hands up, we may never know. The one thing I can appreciate is the use of fingerless gloves. Don’t want to drop that mic until the song is over. The one thing I will say is that at less than 2-minutes running time he gets extra points for brevity.

Eh. I’ve been there. No different than Ames or Manhattan. which are completely fine, average college towns. Except on home football Saturdays.

I’ve never been either, but that is seriously all you hear about that place. judging by 95% of the people I see wearing the t-shirts, pretty sure I will never go either.

I’ve been to OKC for a couple concerts, but that’s it. I guess it wasn’t awful, but I would never go unless I had a real good reason.
