Buster Posey Hit a Grand Slam to Put San Francisco Up 6-0 Over the Reds
Buster Posey is clutch. Here is hitting a grand slam to put the Giants up 6-0 over the Reds in game 5 of their National League Division Series. The shot was so unquestionable that Reds’ catcher Ryan Hanigan had a visceral reaction that sent him walking towards the dugout. The Reds have four half-innings left to save their season.
Update: For some reason this home run sent Chris “Mad Dog” Russo into hysterics. I assume there is some San Francisco connection for Russo otherwise, I would call this part of his schtick.

Game is getting a little closer than I’d like. Keep it together Cain.

All Giants should be requited to do the Jeff Leonard One Flap Down when they homer in the postseason.

0-2 count homer, yikes.
All Giants should be requited to do the Jeff Leonard One Flap Down when they homer in the postseason.
All should be tested for roids.

So Girardi’s old man died and he’s still gonna manage tonight. Takes some stones.

Love how the catcher just disgustedly punched his glove and then moved away from the plate to make room for the 4-man parade that’s rounding the bases. He knew immediately that ball wasn’t coming back.

Russo is a die-hard Giants fan from watching them as a kid (when they were still in NY). You should have heard him when they won the WS in 2010.
That was awesome. Would have to heard him mic’d up for that one.
