Michigan looked good yesterday from what I saw. But Purdue’s D is a fraud of the highest order.

Yes and yes. With Michigan…

(1) Can’t beat themselves. Interceptions. Six points from five red zone trips against ND. They came out with a much more run oriented offense against Purdue, using a bunch of read options for Denard. Using deep balls as a chance of pace. That’s a much better route for success. He needs to carry the ball 20ish times per game.

(2) A quarterback that can stand in the pocket and make quick throws under pressure is going to kill them. Terbush had throws available to him and just missed receivers. Good thing is they won’t face that the rest of the way.

(3) They need to improve handling physical, aggressive defensive fronts (Michigan State/Ohio State). Jury is still out.

Season comes down to whether they can beat Michigan State and Nebraska and if they can they will get into the title game.

This is one of the more enjoyable seasons. WVU will choke. Book it. It will be amazing if ND can win out on that brutal schedule. I’m hoping they can. I almost had to whoop 2 of their weak ass fans last night though.

I doubt WVU runs the table. They’ll slip up.

Michigan looked good yesterday from what I saw. But Purdue’s D is a fraud of the highest order. OSU will be scary once they can get some depth at LB and the right pieces get inserted into that offense.

They have also lost two games to teams that have trailed for 15 seconds combined this season.

WVU fun to watch, but that defense is bad. Geno nearly cost them that game with 2 fumbles deep in own end. Nice kick Fera.

Was at the USAFA-Navy game (working, as usual). Cold, dreary weather. Home fans weren’t really into the game until the second half. Overdone home unis. Weird scene, all around.

Good thing USAFA doesn’t get Boise this year. It could get ugly, early.
