South Carolina’s Win Over Georgia Featured a Surprise Military Family Reunion [Video]
As if there weren’t enough highlights for the Gamecocks from yesterday’s 35-7 win over Georgia, South Carolina fans were also able to witness one of those teary surprise military family reunions between someone who has been serving overseas and his wife and kids. The video message from the father while his family stands at midfield is bad enough because it was probably the first time the family had seen dad in who knows how long… But then the guy walks out of the tunnel and the crowd goes freaking nuts. An underrated part of this video is that the wife looks like she might have grabbed her daughter’s shirt for a second so she can beat her to dad. Well done, South Carolina.

These reunions never get old. I’d rather see a hundred of these than one more transfer case.

I almost didn’t post this because nobody hurdled anything.

It was merely for lack of an opportunity. That family would have hurdled the Ol’ Ball Coach once they saw dad/husband if he was in the way.

It appears the band was going to have to hurdle over them to get going.

The gambling public needs to be made aware of these things, no way the Cocks lose after that, unpossible.

Yeah. I wish they had stayed with the shot for a few extra seconds to see the guy with the headset usher the family off the field. “Yes, I get it. You are all very happy. Please make room for the drum majors.”

Great stuff. If I’m the soldier, I’m staring daggers at the guy in the headset and telling him, “Have you ever had to watch your friends die in a godforsaken shit hole while your family is thousands of miles away? No? Then keep your hands off, sonny.”
