I’ve gone back and forth quite a bit. I give the AD (Jeff Long) a pass on the hiring, he was in a tough spot and had to make a quick decision. everyone (including Long) is saying that firing him now isn’t an option, that it will cause turmoil in the program. this is where I have the problem, because obviously this team can’t play any worse. Smith may not be the immediate problem, but he sure as shit isn’t helping.
