Hockey Player Celebrates Goal By Jumping Through Glass [Video]
This video comes from an AJHL Junior game in New Jersey between the Titans and Rockets. A Titans player scored a goal and jumped into the wall to celebrate. The glass is not prepared to join the celebrate and smashes on contact, sending the player crashing to the other side of the boards. I’m sure his teammates came up with a super-clever nickname for the poor kid like Smash. I know I would have.

Love his reaction of just walking away like nothing happened.
Also, highest attendance at a hockey game in New Jersey history.

Local FS station may be playing Griffins games this year until the lockout ends. That would be sweet.

If he had tried to splash the glass, face first, this could have ended poorly.
There is an AHL scrimmage at the Flyers practice facility today that will probably outdraw most Devils games.

Sean Couturier, Brayden Schenn, and Zac Rinaldo.
Marc-Andre Bourdon and Erik Gustaffson were expected to compete for 5th and 6th d-man spots for the Flyers, but are going to be playing for the Phantoms during the lock out.
