Adam Greenberg Strikes Out in His First Major League At Bat [Video]
Adam Greenberg faced a major league pitcher for the first time since 2005 tonight. Greenberg, who was beaned in his only other plate appearance faced R.A. Dickey in the 6th inning of tonight’s Marlins – Mets game. Dickey, a Cy Young candidate and 20-game winner, struck out Greenberg on three straight pitches, but the crowd and clubhouse still showered Greenberg with applause. Maybe next time.
