I heard that he said he was watching the Golf Channel and they had the times listed and it said his match started at 12:25. Those were Eastern Times, locally his match started at 11:25. So I guess he thought he had an extra hour.

Why is it that every broadcast network must tell their viewers when things start on EASTERN TIME. Are the people in the East too dumb to do the math?

Do we have to tell people that the GB-SEA game starts at 8:30pm ET? It actually starts at 6:30pm PT in Seattle.

Why tell viewers for the Texas Okie State game the telecast starts at 7:30pm ET? It starts at 6:30pm CT.

Can the people on the East Coast not do the math?

At first glance I was pretty sure the caption said c-o-c-k instead of ‘clock’. I thought to myself, ‘well, this is going to be interesting’.

Still don’t get his excuse for that…. if he thought he was on Eastern Time wouldn’t he have shown up an hour earlier than he wanted?

I really dont get it either, you would think an asst. captain or his caddy or somebody would have told him the correct time.

I was there on Thursday and Friday. Crowd and atmosphere were unreal, felt like a Super Bowl. Could only imagine the air being sucked out of that place on Sunday afternoon. DL3 made a huge mistake with that Sunday lineup, I’m sure that was discussed earlier today.

The whole conceding putts thing is perplexing to me. It matters if they hit it or not and nothing is ever given unless its on the rim. McDowell did it on 17 too and that putt was not a given.
