Americans get hold of an old sport that is based on respect, honesty and honor and turn it into football, change the rules and claim it as their own. Loud and aggressive fans are allowed to heckle opposition players, stewards kick balls back into play and rarely do the fans acknowledge great shots from the opposition.
How many USPGA players travel to Europe, Asia and Australia to support those tours and broaden their skills ?
Like it or not, this is how Americans are perceived in this and many other sports.
The US have wonderful players but so have other countries and yesterday the europeans were a little better and luckier on the day. You would be more admired if your comments acknowledged this instead of dumping on your team.

Did anyone else notice the way Keegan Bradley looks at his putts. It looks like he turns his head to the side and then tries to line up the putt out of the corner of his eye.

Honestly, I questioned Furyk from the time I heard his name announced. He’s had a rough year. In other years, I would take him in a heartbeat. But, that dude has had a tough year when the pressure was on.

I could have taken or left Stricker.

Mahan may have bit it in 2010, but that’s getting your ears wet. I would rather see him on the green or with a short iron in hand than almost every guy the US has.

And we should all attempt to be as classy as Zach. The glasses make him seem ridiculous, but that guy is as straight as an arrow and is a competitor not a pretty golfer.
