Touchdown or Fumble? Texas Escapes Oklahoma State 41-36 on Controversial Joe Bergeron Score
All, College Football, Video September 30th. 2012, 12:07am
Joe Bergeron ran for a two-yard touchdown to put Texas ahead over Oklahoma State 41-36 in the final minute. The call was reviewed and stood with no indisputable evidence, though it certainly looked like Bergeron fumbled before crossing the goal line. Pistols Firing Blog provided us with the screen shot below.
This was also a #LawofGus game. Here are some highlights from Texas’ final drive. Could have gone for the topical “Magic Mike” reference, but we forgive him.

This is worse than Seattle.

Yeah, there isn’t enough there to come close to overturning a call on the field. At least not from what the Shamburgler has put together and slapped BigLeadSports on.

Was a TD plain and simple. Okies will complain all season I’m sure but they got the call right. Texas better step up their D if they wanna hang with WVU next week.

When are you gonna post the evidence showing that it was a fumble?

Fumble or not, we’re 4-0. The defense has been UGLY. Mountaineers next week. Yikes. Hope we get Jordan Hicks back, pronto.

Duffy’s beloved SRS has Texas down to number 2. Interestingly, numbers 3 and 4 are Texas Tech and Texas A&M (Bama number 1).

Not all of the results have been incorporated yet.

Considering I had Texas -2 I absolutely think they got the call right.

Apparently none of you saw the game or have tv. The fumble is clear as day on tv, never mind this dark presentation. The ball never crossed the goal line. It clearly popped out and OSU came out the pile with possession. This clear recovery rule is a joke. As long as there’s clear proof the ball is out it should be whoever comes up with the ball.

I think they have now. Regardless, my comment was not a criticism of you or the SRS. I honestly have no idea if it’s better or worse than some of the other computers that use MOV.
