NFL Pigskin Pigsplosion Week 4 Preview
Last Week: Jason (9-6-1), Stephen (6-9-1)
Overall: Jason (24-21-3), Stephen (17-27-3)
New England (-4.5) @ Buffalo
Jason: Love New England coming off consecutive close losses here, and until last season’s interception fest shootout, Pats had owned Bills on road. (Pats)
Stephen: Ah… the annual game where the Bills play the Patriots tough and everyone thinks the Bills are finally ready to step up. /all the sighs (Bills)
Minnesota (+5) @ Detroit
Jason: Is Stafford going to play? Either way, like the Vikings to keep it close. (Vikings)
Stephen: Always knock down the Hail Mary. (Lions)
Carolina (+7.5) @ Atlanta
Jason: Love the Panthers here coming off a week where they have been trashed and Atlanta is the best ever. (Panthers)
Stephen: Cam Newton. More like Pussy Cat Doll, am I right? (Falcons)
San Francisco (-4.5) @ New York Jets
Jason: The Jets are finished, unless Tebow learns to catch better. (49ers)
Stephen: Sucks that Revis is done, but I think we can all still root against the Jets and have fun. (Niners)
San Diego (-1) @ Kansas City
Jason: I look forward to the next Philip Rivers fail face after this one is done (Chiefs)
Stephen: This week Jason Lisk has to explain what a whale’s vagina is to his youngest son. (Chargers)
Tennessee (+12) @ Houston
Jason: Titans cover this one if Chris Johnson’s yards per carry is greater than my college GPA (Texans)
Stephen: Remember that time a quarterback lost part of his freaking ear? How does that even happen? (Titans)
Seattle (-3) @ St. Louis
Jason: Cortland Finnegan would never be “simultaneously possessed” because he would stab you with the shiv hidden in his sock on the way to the ground. (Seahawks)
Stephen: Badger Style. (Rams)
Miami (+6) @ Arizona
Jason: Last year, teams that won at least two straight as an underdog and then were favored by a field goal or more went 0-3-1 ATS. Arizona has done it twice in last three years, failing to cover both–last year vs. Browns and 2009 vs. Panthers. (Dolphins)
Stephen: I can’t be the only one confused by Reggie Bush running like a real NFL running back this year, right? (Cardinals)
Oakland (+6.5) @ Denver
Jason: Mark Davis’ hair does not respond well to high altitude. (Broncos)
Stephen: This isn’t a rivalry game. The NFL has no rivalry games. Rivalry games take place 3 or more times a year. (Broncos)
Cincinnati (-3) @ Jacksonville
Jason: Can I request replacement officials for this one to liven it up a bit? (Jaguars)
Stephen: They should flex this game to 8pm Tuesday. (Bengals)
New Orleans (+8) @ Green Bay
Jason: Let’s just call this one the “Who Hates Roger Goodell More” Bowl. Winner gets to deliver a shaving cream pie. (Packers)
Stephen: Can the Packers finally score like 20 points? (Saints)
Washington (+3) @ Tampa Bay
Jason: Washington’s defense is so bad, they couldn’t even stop the Bucs from gaining yards on a kneel down. (Bucs)
Stephen: More like RG… I don’t know. I’m at a wedding. Leave me alone. (Bucs)
New York Giants (+1) @ Philadelphia
Jason: Including this one, the Eagles have been favored in 17 of their last 20 games. Obviously, Eagles fans can take solace in that. (Giants)
Stephen: I just threw a battery. (Giants)
Chicago (+3.5) @ Dallas
Jason: Lovie Smith would like to borrow Jerry’s glasses wipes to help him see when to challenge. (Cowboys)
Stephen: Go Bears! (Bears)

Oh and Lisk, I’m gonna have to e-mail you some Eagles cheerleaders, b/c those Seahag cheerleaders…woof.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:17 PM
Great pic selections.
The Bronco cheerleaders should be called “The Bronc-Hoes”
/raises hand for high fives

Stephen is in charge of all cheerleader pic selections.

Miami cheerleaders deserve a better team

Whoa. Kind of bummed it happened to Shep. He seems to be the only tolerable guy on that network.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:20 PM
he looked good last year.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:22 PM
Is it wrong that I find it hilarious that after anchor asked multiple times to “get off it”, they go to a mesothelioma infomercial with a guy that looks a lot like Wilford Brimley’s brother?
September 28th, 2012 at 4:22 PM
/makes note to self, will send pics via twitter
Oh and this will be my weekly fuck Chris Johnson, he of 1.4. Worst ever.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:23 PM
Feeling some guilt over being disappointed that the suicide wasn’t Hannity after reading off recent poll numbers

So much for TBL’s constant insistence that Self is going to the NBA. http://www.kuathletics.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/092812aaa.html

The Eagles are winning this game 27 – 14 on the evening they retire Brian Dawkins’ number.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:26 PM

I don’t think him getting an extension really has any play on whether or not he goes to the NBA. Coaches opt out of contracts all of the time.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:28 PM
Shit CRM, step your game up. JMac is dominating you.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:28 PM
I hope so my friend. Hopefully Ryans grabs the mantle as next badass Eagles defensive leader and kills Eli. He’s done a good job so far on it.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:30 PM
Lisk is also named Bort

10 year extension. Saint Self isn’t like Pitino. Sure, he may go near the end of the contract, but according to McIntyre, Self should be starting his fourth year in the NBA next month.

Oh, my.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:32 PM
Oh, it’s Lisk? SHIT
/shows self out

I’m fairly certain he ducked out early on Illinois when KU called, which is a completely different situation. Only way I see him going to the NBA is if he got the Team USA coaching gig.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:35 PM
LOL. The Eagles are still bringing the same OL they used last week, right?
September 28th, 2012 at 4:37 PM
The insistence on his choking in March, however, will remain.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:37 PM
Which means they are definitely losing.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:40 PM

I’m afraid Team USA coach will be his when Coach Weasel steps aside.
The insistence on his choking in March, however, will remain.
Just like this past March.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:41 PM
my thoughts exactly, but at least being 1-2 is a reminder that it’s not the end of the world thanks to 2003.
i do think this team needs to lose some hard games in the regular season to get their shit together for the post season.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:42 PM
Jason Babin might get 10 sacks in this game going against whoever Dave Diehl’s replacement is.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:46 PM
I agree. Being that he’s going to be on the field for 59 minutes thanks to the Philly turnover machine, he’ll have a great chance of getting 10.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:47 PM
No Nicks so it means Cruz, Barden, Bennett, and ??? against our much better pass defense? Yup, Eli’s in for a long game.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:53 PM
fuck the NY Giants. Fuck them. I cannot stress that enough.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:53 PM
Has that supplanted the “Norv Turner face”?
Also, kudos on the cheerleader picks, even the Broncos babe who looks like J.K. Rowling.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:55 PM
It happened most of last year too and I’m still confused.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:56 PM
He looks very Ray Wise-ish in that picture in the link.
Ray Wise fucking rules.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:57 PM
gotta admit, the dolphins aren’t the complete tire fire I’d envisioned them being after watching hard knocks. they might eek out 6 wins. If they’d fire their GM and get a couple of decent drafts, they might be formidable in 2 or 3 years.
September 28th, 2012 at 4:59 PM
Your much better pass defense still includes Nnamdi Alphabet, right? Just checking. When Eli sees him in man to man and starts saying “Omaha, Omaha”, just know Nnamdi is about to get burned.
September 28th, 2012 at 5:02 PM
Speaking of Bennett, why are people calling him the Black Unicorn?
September 28th, 2012 at 5:07 PM
The cheerleader pics are a major upgrade this week.
September 28th, 2012 at 5:13 PM
Did the driver take his pants selection from Michael Jordan?
