Not sure if CRM had access to the entire video, but it was a two-part series about the team from this past spring on ESPNU. This segment was undeniably the funniest.

However, the majority of the time was spent seeing how much these guys do and what Coach Starsia is like and what it’s like to get everyone’s best every game.

I am in no way excusing any of the past behavior of any of their players, but for every really bad story you hear, there are other stories that go unnoticed – Will Barrow (suicide) comes to mind and so does Coach Starsia’s situation with his daughters.

Tons of laxers live up to that “bro” stereotype, but so many others do not. When you are judged by the minority – in any group – unfortunately the remainder have to deal with the fallout.

@crm, you thought it was overdone? Live here in VA, we had this story shoved down our throats and every time I just asked the wife if it was a minority if we even would have heard about it.

Was definitely presented as “look what unchecked privilege gets you” here in Richmond.

UVA does have a TON of douchebags, but it is a state school so for every 5 rich asshole, there are 15 kids who earned their way there. Unfortunately they don’t have a scooter or bmw so you don’t hear from them as much.
