I didn’t see this right away. I’d take the Packers, Niners, and Giants ahead of them right now. The story is still being written on the Cardinals.

I just think within in five weeks with that schedule they are probably 6-1 at worst 5-2 and possibly 7-0.

They can’t baby Kolb forever, it’s not going to work every week. I’m not ready to pencil them in for wins so easily. I like Whisenhunt, and their defense is obviously legit, but they’re not at the point yet where they can dictate their style of play at will so easily. In fact I think Miami’s D might give them some problems.

however, the past two games for the pats have been text book cases of a team missing every chance to capitalize on another team’s mistakes, in fact past 3-4 games fumbles haven’t bounced their way, INT’s aren’t caught, drive extending 3rd down passes are dropped…

if any of those had gone differently we’d be talking about the SB champs starting 3-0

Reid and Marty Morhenweig need to remember that you can call plays other than a forward pass. You can also call running plays while the game is still in the balance. True story.

that’s not a tough call, he’s one of the best in the league. that’s like saying you’d take revis over the packers or pats DB’s from 2011.

I don’t think the Pats would be able to keep Fitzgerald under wraps again without sacrificing elsewhere on the field.

We’re still talking about Kolb as QB. pats have trouble when they shut down the middle of the field against QB’s that can throw outside the numbers.

I think that Cardinals defense will be a constant. I don’t think the Pats would be able to keep Fitzgerald under wraps again without sacrificing elsewhere on the field.

I also think Ryan Williams will get better as the season goes on, taking the heat off of whoever the QB will be.
