I have a scar on my face from when I was like 6 and I caught a small one. While posing for the obligatory picture, he went at me. Great times.

I haven’t fished in Cass Lake since ’98 so dunno. I do remember that Portage, Wolf, Grace, and Steamboat lakes were all pretty good for pike. Never was a Walleye fan though.

Leech is good for water sports and eel pout festival.

And muskie. They take work, though.

There are a bunch of other lakes you can head to in that area that are pretty good, but access to them is tricky.

Isn’t Cass Lake near there? That’s a fantastic fishing lake. Or at least it was 10 years ago.
