Replacement Referee Throws Hat in the End Zone, Kevin Ogletree of the Dallas Cowboys Slips on it Mid-Play [GIF]
Referees often throw their hat to mark a spot on the field. But tossing it in the end zone, at a player’s feet? Kevin Ogletree of the Cowboys went to make a cut, and as he did, a referee threw a hat right at him. Ogletree slipped on the hat. Fortunately, he didn’t suffer an injury.

Doesn’t the hat throw usually means someone went out of bounds and is ineligible?

I watched the video…I did not see him go out of bounds…even if he did…Ref threw the cap in wrong place…knuckelhead
