Nate Irving Made a Huge Hit on a Punt Return, and Got Knocked Out
Nate Irving, a Denver linebacker who played college ball at NC State, put a hard hit on Houston punt returner Trindon Holliday, and was knocked out. Irving’s teammates come over to congratulate him on the big hit, but then realize he’s been knocked out and his arms are frozen. They quickly call for help. This is a somber reminder that football is a violent game. Irving did walk off the field, but no other details were available.
