ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit Voices His Displeasure with Auburn Fans

The Auburn Tigers are currently 1 – 2 after dropping their opener to Clemson, losing their first SEC game to Mississippi State, and barely escaping Louisiana-Monroe in overtime. The bad start this season has lead to rumblings about Gene Chizik being on the hot seat.
ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit disagrees with the fans in Auburn and voiced his displeasure today during ESPN’s GameDay.
“You people are absurd. This guy won a national title for you in year two and now he’s a clown?”

“I know patience in the SEC is an oxymoron.”
Auburn hosts LSU tonight and is currently a 20 point underdog.

I think what Kirk meant to say is that other than the year Cam Newton won them a National Championship, the guy is barely above .500, and his teams look tactically out matched almost every game against any decent opponent.
