i think it’s incredible, that even though syd wasn’t with the band for their most successful endeavors, dark side and wish you were here were predominantly about him and the void he left in the band.

there’s not many artists out there that can really put on a show with only songs and lights that top elaborate performances of lesser musicians, who use crazy staging to make up for what they are lacking in song and energy. (pink floyd’s the wall excluded)
