The one state I can think of that has every imaginable wonderful climate and scenic vista is California.

The drawback: it’s filled with fucktard Californians.

Based on my recent drive across the country, I nominate Pueblo, CO, as the shittiest-looking city in the nation.

Maine is beautiful. As are the blue ridge mountains, most of the east coast, and the northern and southern thirds of the Appalachian Trail.

Appalachia is a plus for southeast. Although, it’s just a very shitty version of the mountains out west. Where south really loses points is Alabama and Mississippi.

That’s fair. I wouldn’t put the SE up high on the list because of the large amounts of flatlands and below sea level shitholes, I’m just saying its benefits are miles better than those of the Mid West and Plains.

High on the places I would never want to live is Arizona. I like water, and grass, and do not like sand blown in my face.

It also has some of the most spectacular canyonlands in the world.

My wife lived in Arizona when she was younger and said it was ok. But one of my favorite places in the world is northern New Mexico.
