I read an article where the one year some writer asked Steve if Tiger gave him a Xmas present and he said yeah, Tiger gave me a scorecard from some round where I keyed him on some good reads on his putts. Yeah, 18 months is usually the end of that. After that it is, “he is almost two.” Using months to signify age is baseball speak for parents. The difference between 12 months and 18 months (or any below that) is significant and people with kids know what you are talking about.

I remember someone on here saying something when The Onion came up about how nobody reads it anymore and there was a better satire site and it was some piece of shit they linked to. Anyone remember that? Cowboy

I’m old enough that I read The Onion in newsprint form from the stand outside the KU Student Union. That is when they were based in Madison.

They were the prototype for internet satire. I don’t visit the site often anymore. There are so many satire/snarky sites that it is hard to keep up with. There may be better satire/snarky fake news articles site, but The Onion is probably still king. Or should be. But people read them.
