D.J. Moore Says Quarterback Jay Cutler Should Not Have Shoved J’Marcus Webb
D.J. Moore, a cornerback for the Chicago Bears, spoke at practice today and said that it was wrong for Jay Cutler to shove left tackle J’Marcus Webb during Thursday night’s loss to the Packers, per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
Jay Cutler is popular among his teammates, despite all the outside criticism. Uh-oh. Why is Moore talking out now about this at all? No comment, dude. Twenty other stories have come and gone since Thursday, and it would have all been forgotten. Now, not so much.
On Friday Morning, the Chicago Sun-Times had some of Cutler’s quotes about the incident captured on TV as they walked off the field.
“I care about this,” Cutler said of the incident with Webb. “This isn’t just a hobby for me. If we’re not doing things the right way, I’m going to say something. If they want a quarterback that doesn’t care then they better get someone else.”
Webb tried to play it off and move on after the game.
“It’s an emotional game and things happen, and things get said, and you move on and go onto the next play,” Webb said. “Uh, take it for what it is.”
What it is now is a teammate on the other side of the ball coming in four days later, Moore’s quotes in the Chicago Sun-Times today toss even more gasoline:
“What did he do? Did he shove the guy? Oh yeah,’’ Moore said sarcastically. “[I think the criticism is warranted] man. I don’t think you can act like that, though. To make it seem like it’s just my fault or what not, I think it’s just wrong, though honestly. I would feel a certain way if he did me like that, to make it seem like, ‘Well, the reason I’m having a bad game is because is what you’re doing and not about me taking accountability for myself because I’m throwing these type of passes and doing these type of reads.’ It’s a tough situation.’’

the mere fact you’re asking yourself this question proves you’re not ready. perhaps you will be after a vision quest.

I mean can we even clarify this as a push?

More like a bump really. It wasn’t done on the 50 yard line for all to see, but on the sideline and away from the action.
People just want something that goes along with the narrative. Cutler does this and it provides further proof that Cutler is “petulant” “doesn’t get it” or “a bad leader.”
People almost stampeded over themselves to call Brady a fiery leader when he had a similar rant on the sideline. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMKWSNnCW-c

Get Franchise QB, find some solid wideouts, pay your star back what he wants and find a few guys at the Pic ‘n’ Sav to play O-line.
I think Chicago’s model is gonna sweep the league.

Just watched the video.
Yeah, blogs/media even talking about this thing in the first place is the problem here, not Moore. Holy shit.
September 17th, 2012 at 2:59 PM
Haaaa. I have always been on TeamBrady, just think people go out of their way to pick on Cutler and stir the pot. He is an easy target and even other players mock him on twitter.

No chance you can beat up Rob Ford. He’s a better man than you could ever be. Go kiss Kyle Rae on the lips and be gone

Easily, it’s his brother would be tough. I have no idea who Kyle Rae is. You sir, are a fucking moron if you still support that man. Ideally you hate gravy but support a man using tax payer money to run his hobby of football coaching? Get that fuck out of here and the failures are too many to note, he has not passed a motion in over a year so what did you even vote for? Fuck you.

I’m not fighting. I already won.

If Brady did this the media would be shanking each other to be the first to write a 6000-word profile on his fiery leadership.

Rob Ford supporters.
Doug is around 40 years old, his family has been living in Canada for generations and has a sense of entitlement, he has no political thoughts beyond apathy, he lives in a suburb and drives to work, he hates visiting the downtown core of Toronto and the only thing we agree on is Toronto should de-amalgamate so retards of his ilk can run their own shitty towns into the ground.

Nothing moves the needle in the sports world like a sleepy-eyed quarterback* having a dust-up with a teammate.
*not a quarterback in the sense that he, you know, completes passes
