Saturday Noon Games: California at Ohio State, Wake at Florida State, TCU Debuts in Big 12
California at Ohio State: Urban Meyer likes his quarterback. Braxton Miller is fourth in the nation in rushing, and just outside the Top 40 in passer rating. Ohio State’s elite defensive line recruits should get some playing time due to injuries. The Bears lost to Nevada at home and needed a 30-point fourth quarter to beat Southern Utah. Cal’s AD claims Tedford is not on the hot seat. We’ll check back in after they start 1-5.
Wake Forest at Florida State: The Seminoles play their first big boy football game, sort of. The debate seems to be whether they’ll win by three or four touchdowns. Florida State’s defensive front should be unyielding. We’ll see whether they have the offense to beat opponents and the discipline not to beat themselves. Nikita Whitlock being out is bad news for Wake.
TCU at Kansas: The Horned Frogs are making their Big 12 debut. So are Charlie Weis and his gaggle of transfer players. We’re not quite sure what to expect from TCU, though we expect their days of dominance may be over. We are quite sure what to expect from Kansas, who have already lost to Rice. Dayne Crist has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns and completed just 52 percent of his passes.
Virginia Tech at Pitt: Neither team has shown it can play offense. We’ll take Pitt with the points and the ugly.

No mention of Liverpool v. Sunderland?

Taylor Martinez and Nebraska look to get back on track. Can the defense stop anyone?

Dayne Crist is fucking garbage. So is Weis. Why we didn’t open the vault for Patterson instead of Jabba the Suck is puzzling.

Don’t you understand that Crist was recruited at Notre Dame? Do you know how many stars he had next to his name on the Rivals report? Let me tell you, that kid is going to be throwing interceptions in the CFL someday!

Braxton Miller just broke some ankles. And OSU WR’s can’t catch.

So is Weis
no schematic advantage?

no schematic advantage?
None. We run all over them and then Jabba the Suck starts calling passing plays to show off Crist. Who shits the bed every single time. Jayhawk88 knows what I speak of.

I don’t think Va Tech should be throwing the football anymore. QB runs over a safety. QB runs over the entire Pitt LB corps. QB throws interception.

Time for a new gravatar. As close as I can come without stepping on Dixon, the rare times he appears.

Oh that’s right. It’ll show up next year.
